Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
Fidela (“Fidela”, “we”, “us”) provides a digital loyalty-card platform for businesses. This policy explains what information we handle and how. By using Fidela you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account data: the email address and name a business admin provides to sign up and sign in.
- Business profile: business name, optional tagline, logo URL, brand colours and default card settings.
- Customer data entered by a business: customer username, first/last name, and optionally phone, email and notes, plus the cards and stamps recorded for them.
- Technical data: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie storing your language preference, and standard server logs.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the service (authentication, issuing cards, recording stamps, analytics).
- To display a customer's loyalty progress on their shareable public page (only non-sensitive fields: business branding, the customer's display name and card progress — never phone, email or last name).
- To maintain security and prevent abuse.
Roles & responsibilities
For customer data, the businessusing Fidela is the data controller and Fidela acts as a processor on its behalf. Businesses are responsible for collecting their customers’ information lawfully and for having any consent required in their jurisdiction.
Sharing & sub-processors
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted infrastructure providers to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication) and Vercel (hosting). Data may be processed by these providers solely to operate Fidela.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: an authentication session cookie and a cookie that remembers your chosen language. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data retention & deletion
We keep data for as long as an account is active. Businesses can delete customers and cards at any time from the dashboard, which permanently removes the associated records. To delete your account and its data, contact us at support@fidela.app.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact the relevant business (the data controller) or us at support@fidela.app.
Children
Fidela is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
